Our goal was simple: to find out whether the pedal \u2013 in its MTB\/Gravel version \u2013 would work under real, harsh conditions.<\/p>\n<p>We wanted the truth. No lab. No good-weather setup. Instead: rain, mud, sub-zero temperatures, dust, frost \u2014 and more dirt.<\/p>\n<p>One point was especially important to us, something many riders know from everyday use: \u201cWhat happens when I step into the dirt? Can I still clip in safely?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The results were surprisingly positive. Even on wet ground or with contaminated cleats, the pedal clipped in and out reliably. This was a crucial milestone \u2014 <strong>TOURELLY performed just as well as many established systems, thanks to its round design.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In parallel, we were preparing for our first event where we would present our idea to real riders. One thing was clear: <strong>we needed visibility.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We began actively marketing on Instagram \u2014 posting regularly, sharing development photos, explaining our concept, and directly reaching out to riders who shared our philosophy: <em>innovation through simplicity.<\/em> The goal wasn\u2019t to go viral \u2014 but to authentically show what TOURELLY stands for.<\/p>\n<p>Up to this point, everything was handcrafted \u2014 in the workshop, on the computer, and in our marketing.
