When ideas meet reality – TOURELLY on the race course.

After months of intensive testing and improvements, we wanted to know: how does our pedal perform when it really matters? The answer came at the Dolomitenrundfahrt 2024 in Lienz – our first major race using TOURELLY pedals.

For the first time, we were not only exhibitors but also an active team. Two of our riders started with the new TOURELLY pedals – and both delivered impressive performances:

89th place: 03:08:48.4
298th place: 03:38:10.3

With peak outputs of over 1,300 watts and a steady effort across 112 km and 1,870 meters of elevation, our pedals handled the race with ease – no failures, no functional issues, despite high loads and changing weather conditions.

For us, it was a huge moment. All the work, the testing, the 3D prints, the metal prototypes – suddenly everything was put to the test.
And the result exceeded all expectations.

At the same time, we had a small booth on-site and were able to talk to many riders and exhibitors. The feedback was consistently positive – especially regarding the simplicity of the clip-in mechanism and the robustness under real race conditions.

One technical adjustment we had implemented shortly before the race proved to be particularly effective: the mechanical stop-limiter, which prevents the spring from rotating or opening beyond its elastic range.

The system worked flawlessly – no deformation, no readjustments needed.

The Dolomitenrundfahrt was not only a sporting success – it was proof that TOURELLY is more than a concept.
Our system worked. And it impressed.
